Join the Build
TradeShaper is in private beta. We’re onboarding ten options traders who know discipline is the path that turns good ideas into consistent P&L — and who want to help shape the journal as we ship it. If that’s you, here’s the deal.
What we’re looking for
- Active options traders running defined-risk strategies. Pre-earnings spreads, post-earnings IV plays, calendars, diagonals, butterflies, iron condors — TradeShaper is built around these structures. If you use CML’s Trade Machine for pre-trade research, the strategy library will look familiar; every encoded strategy maps to a SHAPE template so post-trade grading happens in the same vocabulary you used pre-trade.
- Comfortable with CSV import and screenshots — for now. TradeShaper currently imports trades from ThinkOrSwim via account trade history CSV, with on-demand chain and order-entry screenshots for pre-trade context. Automated TOS API sync is on the immediate roadmap — once that lands, the broker side becomes hands-off. Tastytrade, Schwab, and other brokers come after that. Today, a few ThinkOrSwim screenshots bring TradeShaper most of the inputs it needs.
- Willing to log the trades you didn’t take. Tracking trades you analyzed and chose to skip is one of TradeShaper’s real differentiators — we call it Passed Hindsight, and it tells you weeks later which passes were disciplined and which ones missed real winners. But it only works if you actually record the ideas you skipped. If you treat passes as invisible, the discipline metric isn’t going to fire for you.
- Ready to give 5–10 minutes of feedback per week. A short Slack / email reply about what broke, what was confusing, what saved you a rebuild — we read every word. Beta seats are valuable; we’re trading them for honest signal, not just usage.
How long it lasts
Each beta seat runs for 30 days from the day you create your account. During that window you have full access to every feature — TradeShape pre-trade flow, Hindsight Verdict, Passed Hindsight, Strategy Match, the dashboard, the calendar, all of it. No usage caps, no feature flags held back.
- Day 25 — you get a heads-up email with five days remaining. We’ll spell out exactly what happens next so nothing surprises you.
- Day 31 — your account switches to read-only. You can still sign in, but the dashboard swaps for a friendly “beta period ended” page. Your data stays in place — nothing is deleted just because the timer ran out.
After the 30 days
We’ll send a few options to your account email before your evaluation period ends — typically:
- An extension if you’re using the journal actively and giving feedback.
- A founding-member tier if/when we launch paid plans, with locked-in pricing for early testers.
- A clean off-ramp with a data export of everything you logged, no questions asked.
The exact menu and prices aren’t finalized yet — we’ll have them ready before your 30-day window closes. Whatever happens next, your TradeShape ideas, closed positions, hindsight verdicts, and passed-trade history follow you.
Sign-ups open shortly
We’re finalizing the last few pieces of the onboarding flow before opening sign-ups. Email Dave at dh@azuretradelab.com to be added to the first-batch list — we’ll ping you the moment a seat opens.
